THE MINDFUL RELATIONSHIP
A little something couples can do to grow together...
I wrote this book as a way to make the work I do in couples therapy accessible to people before, during, and after coming to therapy. Therapy is often stigmatized as something to do when there is a problem, but in reality, it is an educational process that makes daily living more harmonious. My hope in writing this book is to demystify therapy skills and show how these skills can be helpful and fun on a day-to-day basis.
Why I recommend this book for couples:
If your relationship is lacking intimacy or stuck in a rut, this book can help guide you towards more fun, ease, and intimacy. It is also a way to incorporate the value of personal growth into your partnership. It is not a substitute for therapy, because nothing can replace the real-time feedback and guidance of a qualified therapist, but it provides exercises and a path to begin to improve your relationship.
